Yes, both HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.1 support up to 240Hz refresh rate at 1080p resolution, which means they can also support a 165Hz refresh rate. However, you must ensure that your graphics card and monitor are compatible with HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 to get a 165Hz refresh rate. Also Read:
If you'd like a reference. I have a 6950 Overclocked/unlocked so it's basically a 6970.. I run 2 monitors (one is 1440p and one is 1080p) no problems with desktop at all. I also play a crapload of Starcraft and Battlefield 4 on the 1440p monitor. BF4 has to be set to low/medium mix, but I can run SC2 on ultra (not saying much I know).
If you're willing to spend the money, you can get 4K monitors with high brightness levels that are capable of HDR playback. However, you can also find these features for a cheaper price on 1080p or 2K monitors. Don't write off aesthetics, either. Huge bezels around the edge of a monitor can detract from your experience while using it.
The exact GPU you need will depend on the resolution you’re playing at and the level of graphics detail you want to run. However, some of the high-end GPUs that can handle 240Hz include: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, 4070 Ti, and 4090, among others. AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, RX 7900 XTX, among others. It’s worth noting that just because a GPU is

Solution. #2. that depends on monitor used, with lower resolution it will need to upscale it to 2k/4k which can result in blurry image if monitor doesnt have decent low latency image processing cpu to fix that. i personaly have no issues running 720p/1080p/2140p on 4k samsung 49" TV (it has 4
I know you can run it, but I don't know how it'll look like with an extended desktop UI(be glad if you took a pic and screenshot your desktop), because I'm planning to get a 60 hz 1080p monitor and atleast a 144hz 1440p monitor. I'm doing this setup primarily because I also plan to port in my PS4 with the 1080p.
I still recommend getting a GPU for high FPS 1080p or higher resolutions, and an APU (Ryzen APU's preferably) for 720p or 1080p. As for a graphics card, it really depends on your budget. A 1050 ti or 1060 6gb should be plenty, or you can get an RX card like A 460, 470, 480, 560, 570, or 580.
Followers 1. Go to topic listing Graphics Cards. Hi everyone, I was searching for maximum resolution/hz support for multiple monitors on the RTX 4090. So far I could only find that it supports three 4K displays, but I have no idea if thats limited to 60Hz. I know that DP1.4 can (on a singe monitor) run 4K 120Hz, so is it actually possible to ru
If you plan to connect a 4K monitor to a Windows device, or run a high DPI Windows laptop, chance is high that you run into display issues. www.ghacks.net. You can hold down ctrl and use mouse wheel to go between scaling - works on desktop icons too - but it only works on the preset amounts, not custom.
