Try the cooling fan switch, it looks like a large brass nut with wires on it on the thermostat housing or radiator. To test, pull off the wires and connect together, turn on ignition and the fans should cut in. Which model is it, year etc. on a 95 pug 306 XL 1.4 its quite difficult to get at ( im trying to change mine now) if you look at the rocker cover (top of the engine) its towards the cockpit at the back of the engine on the right. an easier way to find it is to follow the leads off of the battery one should go behind the engine and to the starter.

Comm 2000 Reset. I removed and repaired the indicator stalk (comm 2000) on my 206, I regreased the return spring at the end of the stalk which had gunked up.
