Ford Flash Codes. (PATS - Passive Anti-Theft System) which will help diagnose an immobiliser issue. When an immobiliser fault is detected on a Ford PATS system, the red LED in the center of the dashboard will flash repeatedly. After approximately 1 minute, the light will cease flashing rapidly & pulse a series of times (similar to a morse code).
2008 C-Max 1.6 TDCi ZETEC - "NO IMMOBILISER ID". I have a 2008 Ford C-Max 1.6 TDCi Zetec which up until last week was running like a charm. However, on a couple of occasions during short journeys to and from school a warning tone sounded and a message came up "Acceleration Reduced".
